This is a true barn find Shelby GT 350. It had low mileage however the storage barn where it had been for years had a lot of moisture.
I was all original and has inboard headlights.
There was an overall covering of rust. Even the speedometer and tachometer dials had rusted to the face.
We had the body media blasted and then replaced all the rusted panels. We save as much of the original sheet metal as possible. We put the body on a rotisserie.
Owner wanted to change the color to Midnight Blue. It is another 1967 Shelby color that was available.
The completed Shelby GT 350 has won several awards and is featured in a documentary film produced in Ann Arbor Michigan.
Interior is back to original. The wood steering wheel was replaced and the instrument panel was sent out to where it was restored.
This 1967 Shelby GT350 started as a true barn find—tucked away for decades, weathered by time, and in need of a complete transformation. At Mustang Craftsmen, we were honored to bring this legendary car back to life through a full, ground-up restoration.
From the moment it arrived, our team carefully documented and disassembled every part of the car. The chassis was stripped and restored, the drivetrain rebuilt to original specs, and the body fully repaired and refinished in its factory-correct color. Every detail—from the badging and interior trim to the suspension, wiring, and drivetrain components—was either restored or replaced with period-accurate parts to honor the GT350’s original performance and appearance.
The result is a stunning, show-quality restoration that doesn’t just look the part—it runs, drives, and feels like it just left the Shelby factory floor in 1967. For us, this wasn’t just another build. It was a chance to revive a piece of American muscle car history, and we’re proud to have brought this GT350 back for another chapter on the road.
