1968 Mustang GT convertible had been disassembled 30 years ago and was brought to us to be restored.
The parts for this Mustang restoration were all in boxes.
First thing was reconstruct the front frame.
Hang replacement doors then replace quarters.
Replacement doors do not have the correct contour so we have to correct this.
Replacement quarters have the incorrect scoop for ’68 so we have to weld them in.
Rear of car is reconstructed.
Panels replaced.
Original hood was saved.
In primer ready for paint.
Highland green.
Body finished with correct colors.
Paint is wet sanded then buffed to bring a show quality finish.
Rebuilding the motor.
Front end assembled.
Convertible top and interior are installed.
Drive train installed.
Customer wanted a custom steering wheel and is going to install his own stereo system.
Undercarriage is detailed.
Ready for the owner to enjoy a car that has been part of his family almost since it was new.
